Whistler Winter Activities - Dogsledding

Let Cougar Mountain take you on the backcountry experience of a lifetime! Their Musher and his team of Alaskan Huskies take you on a winter journey through the spectacular Soo Valley Wildlife Reserve. Stop along the trail for a traditional snack and a visit with the team. You can even be the musher and drive the sled (weather and trail conditions permitting!)

All sled dogs are Alaskan Racing Huskies which are the dog of choice for dog sled racers. Alaskan Racing Huskies are a cross breed of Husky and Greyhound and are friendly approachable dogs. When you arrive at the dog sled b1ase camp in the Soo Valley (20 min. north of Whistler), your Musher will provide a full interpretation of the dogs and tour procedures. You will learn how to harness dogs, command the team and ride the runners. Each sled holds up to 2 full size adults and 1 child. A drink and snack are included with the tour.

Tour Length: 2.5 hours
Price * : $140 each cdn plus 6% GST
Departures: 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm

* Based on 2 passengers. Kids 50% off when accompanied by 2 adults per sled. Tour departures and Sled capacity are subject to weather conditions.
