Vida Spa is located in Whistler’s Upper Village, right in the Fairmont Chateaux Whistler.  What makes Vida different from all the other spas within Whistler is that they treat their guests using Ayurveda.  It is a native traditional medicine that comes from India dating back 5,000 years.  Each person is dominated by one of the Doshas within the Ayuverda philosophy; Pitta, Shanti, Vita and Kapha.  Vida purpose is to distinguish which Dosha the guest is and bring their body and soul into balance using the proper techniques regarding each Dosha.

Vida has a great option for a guest to do a Body Wrap; quite unheard of in Whistler.  This treatment helps engage our body senses and exfoliates using warm sugar and customized oils.  It helps circulation within the body and removes excess unwanted dry skin.  It’s followed up by oil massage with shea butter and finished with a warm shower leaving the body feeling fresh and smooth.
