
The King of the Rail cosists of a series of rail jam contests which will run on select evenings throughout the winter at the base of Whistler Mountain right next to the Fitzsimmons Chair. There will different categories for snowboarders and skiers, males and females, as well as adults and youth. Each category winner will receive a percentage of the cash entry fees and all participants have a chance to win draw prizes from Showcase, Burton, Atomic, Nintendo, TELUS, DNA and more. Canada's very own comedian Lorne Elliott takes the stage with his crazy one-man show. While he is best-known for his CBC Radio comedy series, "Madly Off In All Directions," Elliott’s stage persona is a contrast of crazed intellect and extravagant jester - a blend of comedic mayhem and superbly silly performance art. The show will start at 8 PM at Millennium Place and tickets are $24 for adults, $21 for seniors & students and $19 for WAC member and can be purchased online or at Millennium Place .

Take part in the annual Ronald McDonald House Charities Ski Challenge. Corporate teams of 4 skiers will enjoy a full day on the slopes and take part activities on Blackcomb Mountain. This will mark the 20th anniversary of the event and after the completion of its 19th year, the Whistler Cup has grown to become the largest and most important ski race in North America, and internationally, for younger athletes aged 11 to 14 years. It is held under the regulations of FIS, the international governing body for alpine skiing, and with hundreds of young athletes from 23 different countries participating, the Whistler Cup brings together children from many different cultures. The DuffleBag Theatre returns for yet another fun filled and hilarious season of interactive storytelling theatre. Ever since 1992, “the nearly world-famous” DuffleBag Theatre has wowed audiences of all ages in theatres, festivals and schools all across the country. In their adaptations of fairy tales and Shakespeare classics, audience members are invited to join in the show to play the main parts! The result is and exciting and hilarious experience for all and forms a perfect introduction to the classics. The show starts at 8 PM at Millennium Place.
