A huge thank you for organising such a wonderful skiing holiday for us - we all had a brilliant time and loved every minute of it! The children are set on coming back at Easter (and we will be back) but perhaps not that soon! Mark's sleeping pattern has definitely been out of sync this week but he assures me it was worth it! It was a pleasure to meet Lauralee and we very much enjoyed her relaxed company - she has certainly inspired us! Thanks again for sorting our payment to her.

Snow has reached Yorkshire late this afternoon and Joseph has already built his snowman! I wondered if you would mind sending a brochure to us to give to a friend.

Many thanks again for everything you've done.

Ziptrek Ecotours

Ziptrek's unique eco-adventure tours are based around a series of canopy platforms, walkways and ziplines of varying height, length and speed, and an informative and entertaining eco-based curriculum. The canopy platforms sit nestled 70ft up in majestic Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock and Cedar trees. The ziplines range in length from 50ft to an awe-inspiring zipline that is 2000ft. The ecological knowledge guests gain from our informative guide team further enhances this dynamic, nature based, adventure journey.

Ziptrek has attracted guests ranging in age from 7 to 85 and includes everyone from individuals to corporate groups to families of all sizes! With 2 Zipline tour options and the TrekTrek Guided Canopy walking tour means that young or old, athlete or couch potato, this is an adventure that is accessible to all and produces a similar effect over and over, everyone enjoys themselves!

Quick Facts

  • Ziptrek has a total of 10 ziplines.
  • Your choose from two different zipline tours or the TreeTrek Tour
  • Ziptrek lies less nestled in the valley between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. The course covers over 11 hectares (33 acres) of land and contains areas of untouched, ancient coastal temperate rainforest. This forest is home to the bear, cougar, hoary marmot and a plethora of other living creatures.
  • Ziptrek uses ziplines to cover a lot of difficult terrain and to access the forest canopy without damaging the environment like heavy foot traffic or mechanized vehicles.
  • The act of ziplining involves gliding along a suspended steel cable, using a pulley and climbing harness.
  • Ziplines are accessed from Cedar decks high up in the forest canopy.
  • Tour duration is approximately 2.5 hours, including a short shuttle by four-wheel drive van (and snow cat in winter) to and from Whistler Village
