The Whistler area in BC Canada has many great golf courses that are open during the spring, summer and fall seasons. These golf courses are considered to be world class by anyone's standards and if you enjoy playing golf, you shoudl for sure try at least one course, if not several during your visit to the resort.

Below is a list of golf courses in the Whistler area.

Whistler Golf Course
Stand on the first tee of the Whistler Golf Club and instantly you’ll understand why Arnold Palmer chose it as the location for his first Canadian design. Snow-capped peaks surround the course in all directions, ancient cedars and majestic fir trees line the fairways, winding streams, nine lakes and white sand bunkers punctuate perfectly manicured greens and an occasional black bear sauntering across a fairway is not an uncommon site. The Whistler Golf Club is a par 71, 18-hole, golf course that easily exceeds the expectations of the most discriminating golfer. In 2000 the Whistler Golf Club received an extensive $2.2 million renovation to ensure this 6722-yard course continues its legacy of excellence. There is also a really nice driving range available located beside Whistler village.

Nicklaus North Golf Course
With Nicklaus' blend of blue and bent grass fairways and bent grass greens, Nicklaus North's five sets of tees will present unique challenges to all caliber golfers. With a yardage of 6,925 from the championship Nicklaus tees, the par 71 course will present a most daunting challenge for even the most experienced plays. For those who simply enjoy golf as a peaceful retreat from daily pressures, the red tees will offer a less arduous and more enjoyable experience. Overall, Nicklaus North was designed to maximize the essence of it's setting while testing the instincts and skill of all golfers. A driving range is also available.

Big Sky Golf Course
Just 25 minutes north of Whistler at the base of magnificent 8,000 foot Mount Currie in Pemberton BC, lies Big Sky Golf and Country Club. Rated 4 ½ stars by Golf Digest and rated the Best Course in BC, Big Sky is truly a cant miss in the Sea to Sky corridor for golfers of any ability. With its bent grass fairways, tees and greens, Big Sky is without a doubt the best manicured course in BC. After the round join us on our award winning misted patio for some amazing food prepared by our own Red Seal chef. A day at Big Sky is truly an unforgettable event and definitely worth the drive. This course is located in Pemberton.

The Meadows at Pemberton Golf Course
The Meadows at Pemberton is a unique golf experience amongst British Columbia’s most spectacular golf course settings. Located at the foot of majestic Mt. Currie, our 18 hole, par 72 golf course offers excellent bent grass greens with distinctly different layouts for both the front and back nine holes. The front nine – referred to as ‘the meadows’ from which we named the course – is a challenging wide-open game with two par 3s and our signature eighth hole island green. In contrast, our forested back nine – the birthplace of our rare and legendary black squirrel sightings – is a tighter, more challenging game that has, on most occasion, surprised even the most seasoned golfer. This course is located in Pemberton.

Furry Creek Golf Course
Furry Creek is not a course that one merely plays - it is an enriching adventure to be savoured. Considered one of the most beautifully landscaped playgrounds in the province, Furry Creek delivers an unforgettable experience with its breathtaking beauty, dramatic play and first-class facilities. Be sure to visit the Sea to Sky Grill - serving the best in West Coast cuisine. As BC's most scenic golf course, Furry Creek perfectly captures the most spectacular qualities of this part of the country. This par 72, 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Muir Graves and built in 1993 offers panoramic ocean views and encounters with abundant wildlife. This golf course is located south of Whistler on HWY 99.

Riverside Putting Greens
While visiting Riverside, be sure to play our professionally designed real grass 18 hole putting course. Our pro shop provides putter rentals for adults and children and also serves soft drinks, ice cream and snacks. We cater to groups, corporate outings, staff events and private parties. Ask us about our putting and BBQ combo tournament special. Open to the public for daytime and nighttime play from mid May to mid October. It's great fun for the whole family, yet challenging enough for the avid golfer! We'll see you on the Greens!
