2010 Olympic Winter Games in Whistler Resort
Whistler resort hosted in part the 2010 Olympic Winter Games during the month of February. There were many great alpine and nordic sports events combined with a variety of music performances. The alpine events were hosted on Whistler mountain and the nordic events were hosted at Whistler Olympic Park south of the village. Many great performances took place in the village in the afternoons and evenings during the awards ceremonies at Whistler Medals Plaza. The combination of sports and cultural events produced a memorable experience.
